Yes, The UAH campus does have wi-fi for guests! The steps are as follows:

NOTE: If you are visiting from another educational institution, you can check whether your institution participates in eduroam. If you had an eduroam account before visiting UAH, simply connect to the eduroam network as usual. Otherwise, proceed with the instructions below to connect.

These instructions require a mobile phone that is able to receive text messages via SMS. If you do not have a mobile phone, please visit the OIT Help Desk in the Salmon Library to gain access to the network. Otherwise, proceed with the instructions below to connect.

  1. Open your wireless settings and select the "UAH Get Connected" network.
  2. The "Guest Wi-Fi" page should appear within 30 seconds. If not, open a Web browser (such as Safari, Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge) and visit any website to start the process.
  3. Complete the form by entering your mobile phone number and your name. Your name acts as your signature, indicating that you agree to UAH Policy 06.01.03, "Appropriate Use of IT Resources," as well as other relevant UAH policies. You must agree to these policies to connect to the UAH network.
  4. Once you have completed the form, tap Register. A text message will be sent to your phone via SMS.
  5. A new form will appear. Open the SMS you received, enter the confirmation code into the form, and tap Log In.
  6. After a few moments, a confirmation page will appear. You can tap the Done button (or other confirmation provided by your device) and start using the Internet.

Your access to UAH Wi-Fi will expire after one week.
