Good news! Library guest access for alumni is now free. Just bring your alumni association card and a photo ID to the User Services desk (the one right in the lobby) to get signed up. This includes circulation rights (5 books at a time for 28 days) and access to the computers in the Info Arcade. As well as the sort of things you do not need a guest card for, such as browsing our physical books, making photocopies, visiting the archives, or approaching the reference desk.

Wifi access is a campus-wide privlege, not something the library provides. The alumni association can provide access (technically, OIT provides the access) as per this page: http://www.uah.edu/alumni/services/campus-web-access.

You will not be able to access the databases remotely. Our licenses allow us to extend access to on-campus guests but not off-campus. Some of our databases are provided by AVL (http://www.avl.lib.al.us), which is available to anyone in Alabama with internet access. Depending on what online research you are doing, that might help to provide access to what you need without having to come to campus to retrieve it.

You can see the costs for various users (and what the cost allows) at this page http://libguides.uah.edu/content.php?pid=335809&sid=2788785 (this is under the Services/Circulation link on the homepage).
