Please take a look at the HY 103 history research guide here:

You'll see a Primary Sources tab. Scroll down until you see the section for Asia (India, China). You'll find links to sites that contain digitized images and texts (primary sources) from these areas.

Also, using the subject search term "China History Sources" in our library catalog (http://librarycatalog.uah.edu), I was able to locate two books on the shelf that look promising. The titles are Chinese civilization and society : a sourcebook by Patricia Ebrey (call number DS721 .C517) and Sources of Chinese tradition by William De Bary (DS703 .D4). They are both located on the second floor of the library.
